Did anyone know who Charlie Davies was before last summer’s Confederations Cup? Does anyone know who Herculez Gomez is right now? Leading any professional soccer league in scoring should warrant any player a spot on the national team. I invision Gomez having a similar performance as Davies in this World Cup. If we can have 2 out-right strikers up top, use Dempsey and Donovan on the wings with Bradley and either Edu or Clark in the center, I feel like we could field a very dangerous squad.
